Applied Materials (AMAT.O): The company has joined Apple and Texas Instruments in strengthening the U.S. chip manufacturing industry. Through its Austin facility, the company is supplying U.S.-made equipment to Texas Instruments' U.S. production base for the production of essential semiconductors for Apple products. The company plans to invest over $200 million in an advanced manufacturing facility in Arizona to produce key components for semiconductor equipment.
