A humanoid robot games, showcasing the world's cutting-edge technological expertise, will be held at the "Ice Ribbon" (National Speed Skating Oval) from August 14th to 17th. The world's first 5v5 football competition, autonomously controlled by AI algorithms and requiring no human intervention, will be featured at the World Humanoid Robot Games. A one-week countdown kick-off ceremony was held at the "Ice Ribbon" on the 8th. At a press conference, Yu Qingfeng, Executive Deputy Director of the Organizing Committee and Director of the Beijing Municipal Sports Bureau, announced the detailed schedule for the World Humanoid Robot Games, with over 500 robots from around the world competing. He explained that the three-day competition will run from August 15th to 17th. To ensure a compact and well-organized schedule and easy access for spectators, each day will be divided into two competition sessions, morning and afternoon, each lasting approximately three hours. This arrangement ensures a full display of all events while allowing participating teams time for preparation, debugging, and interaction. It also provides a rich viewing experience for global audiences and technology enthusiasts, ensuring they can fully experience the technological breakthroughs of humanoid robots in multiple dimensions, including speed, strength, and collaboration.
