Amazon announced on October 27th that it plans to invest over €1.4 billion in the Netherlands over the next three years (2025-2027). This is Amazon's largest investment commitment since entering the Dutch market in 2020. The funds will support both Amazon Web Services (AWS) and its retail business, boost infrastructure development, and help small and medium-sized businesses expand their reach to customers in the Netherlands and globally.
