Apple partner Hon Hai invests $1.5 billion in Indian unit

Foxconn, Apple Inc's main iPhone manufacturing partner, will invest $1.5 billion in its Indian factory. The investment will be made through a Singapore subsidiary, the company said in a bourse announcement on Monday. Foxconn is currently building a new plant and increasing capacity in southern India.
