AstraZeneca responded to the latest fines it may face in China, saying: "The "Identification Opinion Notice" issued by the Shenzhen Customs Anti-Smuggling Bureau shows that the company is suspected of evading import taxes, amounting to more than 1.6 million US dollars." According to relevant information, AstraZeneca believes that the import taxes mentioned in the "Identification Opinion Notice" involve Enhertu. If AstraZeneca is ultimately found to be legally responsible, it may be fined one to five times the unpaid import taxes, with a maximum amount of up to 8 million US dollars.
