In response to rumors that BYD's Hungarian factory has been delayed in mass production and that its production capacity is lower than planned, BYD said today, "Our plans in Europe are long-term. The construction progress of the Szeged factory in Hungary is in full compliance with expectations, and the project is still proceeding as scheduled, with plans to start production before the end of this year. The planned production capacity of the factory also remains unchanged, with a target peak capacity of 300,000 vehicles. We are currently certifying the qualifications of 150 European suppliers to further strengthen the local supply chain system."
