A CICC research report indicates that as AI power supply architectures upgrade to 800V HVDC, SST is expected to become the optimal technology path in the long term. In recent years, leading cloud vendors have raised capital expenditure expectations, accelerating AIDC construction. The performance advantages of SST solutions are becoming increasingly prominent, and with technological advancements, there remains significant room for cost reduction. Domestic and international vendors are actively deploying SST technology. Global AIDC leaders such as Eaton and Delta have been early adopters of SST solutions. Domestic vendors entering the market primarily focus on traditional power equipment, AI power supplies, and photovoltaic storage and charging, each with its own strengths. Some companies have already deployed SST products in projects such as AC/DC hybrid microgrids. Leading vendors with a deep understanding of power electronics, high-frequency transformers, medium-voltage processing, and extensive experience in data center projects are expected to emerge as leaders.
