Canadian Solar: Controlling shareholder CSIQ expects module shipments to be between 7.5 and 8 GW in the second quarter of 2025

Canadian Solar announced that its controlling shareholder CSIQ disclosed its first quarter 2025 results and its second quarter and annual operating outlook for 2025 on May 15, 2025 (Beijing time). As of the end of the first quarter of 2025, CSIQ directly held 62.24% of the company's shares. CSIQ's revenue in the first quarter of 2025 was US$1.2 billion, with a gross profit margin of 11.7%. CSIQ's total revenue in the second quarter of 2025 is expected to be between US$1.9 billion and US$2.1 billion, with a gross profit margin of 23% to 25%, and total revenue for the full year is expected to be between US$6.1 billion and US$7.1 billion. CSIQ expects module shipments to be between 7.5 and 8 GW in the second quarter of 2025, and between 25 and 30 GW for the full year. CSIQ expects energy storage system shipments to be between 2.4 and 2.6 GWh in the second quarter of 2025, and between 7 and 9 GWh for the full year.
