Recently, CAR Inc. signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement with Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd., Contemporary Electric Service Technology Co., Ltd., and CMB Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. The four parties will collaborate closely on new energy vehicle battery swapping, driving the car rental industry's transition toward new energy and intelligent technologies. CAR Inc. will fully introduce the "Chocolate" standard battery swap model jointly developed by CATL and automakers. The company will launch a pilot program in 2025 and plans to operate over 100,000 of these vehicles.
