On September 16th, China Mobile officially released a series of achievements, including the "Wuji-1" ion-trap quantum computing device. Under the guidance of the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and the Zhongguancun Management Committee, it launched the "Quantum-Intelligence Integration" innovation consortium to support Beijing's development into a hub for quantum computing innovation. The "Wuji-1" ion-trap quantum computing device supports precise manipulation of 100 qubits, achieving industry-leading comprehensive performance in key metrics such as single-bit fidelity, double-bit fidelity, initial state preparation, and detection error rate. China Mobile will openly share its quantum computing device, computing resources, and algorithm verification environment, collaborating with partners to overcome technical and application bottlenecks in quantum computing.
