China's quarterly mobile phone activation volume: Xiaomi VO tops the list, Huawei grows 11%, Apple ranks fifth
According to the latest data released by BCI, in the second quarter of 2025, Chinese manufacturers took the top four positions in the mobile phone market activation volume in mainland China. Among the specific manufacturers, Xiaomi (including REDMI) topped the Chinese smartphone market with 11.4176 million activations, accounting for 16.63% of the market share, a year-on-year increase of 7.39%. Vivo (including iQOO) followed closely behind, ranking second with 11.2393 million activations and 16.37% market share, but down 5.95% year-on-year. OPPO (including OnePlus and realme) ranked third with 11.1728 million activations and 16.27% market share, with a year-on-year growth rate of 10.48%. Huawei ranked fourth with 11.0401 million activations and 16.08% market share, with a year-on-year growth rate of 10.96%. Apple ranked fifth with 11.0379 million activations and 16.08% market share, with a year-on-year growth rate of 8.46%.
