China's robot football team won the championship of the humanoid group in the Robot Football World Cup for the first time

On August 1st, ByteDance Seed announced that the 2025 RoboCup Humanoid Division competition concluded in Salvador, Brazil. HumanoidKick, a humanoid robot motion algorithm developed in collaboration between the ByteDance Seed team and Professor Zhao Mingguo's team at Tsinghua University, helped the Tsinghua Vulcan team win the championship. This marks the first time a Chinese robot soccer team has won this category at the RoboCup.
