Crash test misleads the public? Ideal Auto responds: Simulation based on real traffic scenarios

A collision test video of the Ideal i8 and a Chenglong truck sparked controversy. Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor Co., Ltd. (Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor) issued a statement on the evening of July 31st, stating that the crash test was misleading and significantly different from the actual scenario, and that it reserves the right to pursue legal action. On August 1st, Ideal Auto responded by stating that the "super experiment" involving the i8 and the truck was based on a simulation of a real-world user traffic scenario, and that the test site, test equipment, and test trucks purchased from the market were all provided by a third-party testing agency.
