Foreign media: Indian plane crash may be caused by co-pilot's operational error

According to the British Daily Telegraph on the 15th, American aviation expert Steve Schebner said that the crash of Air India Flight AI171 may have been caused by a fatal mistake made by the co-pilot of the flight. He believed that the co-pilot may have been asked to retract the landing gear at the time, but he mistakenly retracted the flaps. He explained that the wings usually bend during takeoff to push the aircraft into the air with lift, but the video footage did not seem to show this happening. On the other hand, the aircraft should have retracted its landing gear a few seconds after leaving the runway, but the landing gear of this plane was still down before the crash. So far, the crash, which occurred on the afternoon of the 12th local time, has killed 274 people.
