According to reports, Japan's Fujifilm Corporation has increased the prices of some of its products in the US by up to 15% starting August 1st due to tariffs. Previously, the US and Japan reached a trade agreement, imposing a 15% tariff on Japanese products imported into the US. Japan's Fujifilm Corporation has increased the prices of most digital cameras and lenses in the US starting August 1st. According to data from a US camera store website, the prices of some Fujifilm camera bodies and lenses have increased by between US$100 and US$800. The price of one digital camera has increased from US$1,299 to US$1,499, or approximately RMB 10,810, an increase of over 15%. Other camera manufacturers have also reportedly increased the prices of several products in the US in recent months.
