Guo Mingchi: Apple's first "foldable iPhone" will start production this fall

According to well-known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple supplier Hon Hai Precision Industry (Foxconn) is expected to officially start producing the "foldable iPhone" at the end of the third quarter or the beginning of the fourth quarter of 2025. Kuo also pointed out that recent market rumors have said that Apple has ordered 15-20 million "foldable iPhones", but based on his understanding of multiple components, "this number may reflect the cumulative demand within the product's 2-3 year life cycle, not just 2026."
