According to reports, technology journalist Mark Gurman said that Apple will enter the smart glasses market in the next 12 to 16 months, initially launching a pair of glasses without a display to compete with Meta's Ray-Bans smart glasses. Apple's ultimate goal is to provide true AR (augmented reality) glasses that can display content through the lenses, but this will take at least a few years.
