In response to the Canadian government's order on June 27 to stop operations of Hikvision Canada, reporters learned that Hikvision had officially filed a lawsuit with the Federal Court of Canada on July 7 (Eastern Time in Canada), requesting the initiation of judicial review procedures. We hope to defend the company's legitimate rights and interests through legal means and strive for fair and just treatment. At the same time, Hikvision has applied to the Federal Court of Canada for a temporary injunction, requesting a stay of execution of the shutdown order. Hikvision Canada has now resumed normal operations. Hikvision stated that the company has always adhered to business ethics around the world, strictly abided by the laws and regulations of the country where it is located, and operated legally and in compliance with regulations.
