Hong Kong Stock Market Close: Hang Seng Index fell 0.43%, Hang Seng Tech Index fell 0.24%

At the close of Hong Kong trading, the Hang Seng Index fell 0.43%, and the Hang Seng Tech Index fell 0.24%. The Hong Kong Tech ETF (159751) rose 0.17%, and the Hang Seng Hong Kong Stock Connect ETF (159318) rose 0.14%. Among sectors, forestry and paper products, and containers and packaging saw the largest gains, while home furnishings and life science tools saw the largest declines. Among individual stocks, Kidsland International surged over 160%; ZTE rose 7.5%, SMIC rose 4.97%, Luoyang Molybdenum rose 4.79%, and CRRC rose 4.01%. Hansoh Pharmaceutical fell 8.76%, and Tigermed fell 9.36%. Unisound rose 26.12%, and Yaojie Ankang-B rose 20.78%.
