At the close of Hong Kong trading, the Hang Seng Index fell 0.76%, and the Hang Seng Tech Index fell 0.58%. The Hong Kong Tech ETF (159751) rose 0.91%, while the Hang Seng Hong Kong Stock Connect ETF (159318) fell 0.21%. Among sectors, communications equipment, electronic equipment, and instruments led the gains, while life science tools and passenger airlines led the declines. Among individual stocks, Lens Technology rose 12.63%, Shandong Gold rose 7.23%, Zhaojin Mining rose 6.35%, WuXi Biologics rose 6.09%, and SMIC rose 5.16%. Zhonghuan New Energy fell 7.81%, Canggang Railway fell 13.33%, Shangao Holdings rose 29.76%, and MIRXES-B rose 27.68%.
