Among sectors, water and maritime transport saw the largest gains, while biotech and pharmaceuticals saw the largest declines. Among individual stocks, Base Championship Group surged over 110%; Postal Savings Bank of China rose 4.59%, China Hongqiao rose 4.48%, Sands China Ltd. rose 4.4%, and Meituan-W rose 4.06%. Shangao Holdings fell 11.28%, and Chalco International fell 13.23%. Tianjin Chuangye Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. rose 24.17%, and Qingang Co., Ltd. rose 12.94%. Pop Mart fell over 9%.
