The Hang Seng Tech Index in Hong Kong saw its gains expand to 1%, with the Hang Seng Index now up 0.51%. Alibaba (W) rose over 4%, SMIC (Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation) rose over 3%, and Meituan (W) rose over 1%.
