It was learned from the Ulanqab Big Data Bureau that recently, Huawei Cloud's new generation of Ascend AI cloud service based on CloudMatrix384 super node was officially launched in Ulanqab, which marks a major breakthrough in the field of AI computing power infrastructure in the local area and will provide efficient and stable computing power support for the intelligent transformation of thousands of industries. Huawei Cloud CloudMatrix384 super node pioneered the use of 384 Ascend NPUs through a new high-speed network peer-to-peer interconnection, breaking the boundaries of traditional AI servers to form a super "AI server" that can provide up to 300PFLOPs of computing power, fundamentally solving the bottleneck of traditional architecture. Compared with Horqin, Gui'an, Wuhu and other places, the CloudMatrix384 super node launched in Ulanqab this time has many significant advantages. Its single-card inference throughput reaches 2300Tokens/s, which is nearly 4 times higher than the traditional architecture, and even surpasses NVIDIA H100, achieving six major features: performance doubling, strong computing with storage, MoE affinity, long-term stability and reliability, morning push and night training, and ready-to-use. At the same time, relying on the fiber optic backbone network with a bandwidth of hundreds of TB, Ulanqab covers the 10ms latency circle of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei. Major cities with high traffic in the country can access super node resources within 30 milliseconds, providing users with low-latency and high-efficiency computing services.
