Huawei's Wang Tao: By 2030, there will be nearly 10 billion personal AI agents in the world

At the 2025 Shanghai Mobile World Congress held recently, Huawei Executive Director Wang Tao said that in the field of personal communications, mobile terminals are moving from app-centric to agent-centric, so that everyone has a dedicated smart assistant. By 2030, there will be nearly 10 billion personal AI agents in the world, reshaping the user interaction experience, with the interaction mode moving towards cross-application personalization, the interaction scenario moving towards cross-device scenarioization, and the interaction experience moving towards cross-modal emotionalization.
