IDC report: AI drives growth in the public cloud market, Alibaba Cloud's share rises for three consecutive quarters

On April 30, IDC released the "China Public Cloud Service Market (2024 Second Half) Tracking" report. AI has driven the recovery of the public cloud market. In the second half of 2024, the scale of China's public cloud IaaS market will be RMB 94.82 billion, a year-on-year increase of 13.8%. Alibaba Cloud ranks first in the market, with its share rising for three consecutive quarters. Huawei ranks second, China Telecom ranks third, China Mobile ranks fourth, and Tencent ranks fifth.
