JD.com and Honor jointly customize the first large-screen AI mobile phone, priced at 1,199 yuan
On August 8th, JD.com and Honor officially released the Honor Play 70 Plus, a large-screen AI phone co-branded with Honor for 1,199 yuan. This is the first large-screen AI phone launched through the C2M (customer-to-management) model, focusing on three key use cases: product control, smart travel, and home living. Li Yunpeng, Vice President of Honor China and Head of Honor China's E-commerce Department, stated in an interview that the mobile phone industry is entering the AI era. A good AI phone isn't about overloading hardware with excessive costs, but rather about providing the best service with the most appropriate hardware at the best price. Xie Yi, Head of the Second Mobile Phone Business Department of JD.com's 3C Digital Group, told Jiemian News that the team ultimately determined to focus on AI and large screens as their core direction. Their strategic vision and future projections extend beyond mobile phones to encompass all hardware categories. Without an ecosystem that supports AI, the industry will struggle to achieve significant growth.
