Jiangsu Semiconductor Association: The dumping margin of US analog chips in China is as high as over 300%
On September 13, the Ministry of Commerce announced the initiation of an anti-dumping investigation into imports of analog chips originating in the United States. According to application documents submitted by the Jiangsu Semiconductor Industry Association, four US manufacturers are implicated: Texas Instruments, Analog Devices, Broadcom, and ON Semiconductor. Preliminary evidence submitted by the Jiangsu Semiconductor Industry Association indicates that during the investigation period, prices of the US-origin products under investigation continued to decline significantly, with dumping margins exceeding 300% in exports to China. The products under investigation accounted for an average annual 41% share of the Chinese market. In terms of absolute import volume, the total import volume of the products under investigation has continued to rise significantly, reaching 1.159 billion, 1.299 billion, and 1.590 billion units in 2022, 2024, and 2025, respectively.
