Leapmotor CEO expects overseas sales of up to 80,000 units this year

On the first day of the 2025 Shanghai auto show, Leapmotor Chairman Zhu Jiangming said that overseas sales of 50,000 to 80,000 vehicles this year are expected.

He also said that Chinese automakers must take the localization route to achieve globalization.

On April 18, Stellantis Group and Leapmotor announced that the two parties will soon launch a localized assembly project in Malaysia.

The initial investment in the project is 5 million euros (about 24 million ringgits), and it is planned to start localized production of the first Leapmotor model C10 by the end of 2025.
