Many U.S. technology stocks opened higher

At the opening bell, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 69 points, the S&P 500 rose 0.84%, and the Nasdaq Composite rose 1.5%. Roblox (RBLX.N) surged 20% after the company's Q3 booking guidance exceeded expectations. Meta Platforms (META.O) rose 11% after its second-quarter revenue beat expectations. Microsoft (MSFT.O) rose 7% after its cloud business grew faster than expected. WeRide (WRD.O) rose 5% after its robotaxi business saw significant year-on-year growth in the second quarter. The Nasdaq China Golden Dragon Index fell 0.26%.
