On September 19th, Meituan Waimai announced that it would further provide subsidies to more merchants who are implementing the "Open Kitchen" program. Data released by Meituan Waimai showed that as of mid-September, 300,000 merchants, over 3,000 chain brands, and 60,000 chain stores had participated in the program. Meituan's subsidies for the program will be increased to 500 million yuan to help merchants improve transparency in their kitchens.
