Microsoft announced in a statement on September 19th that it will increase the suggested retail prices of several Xbox consoles in the United States starting in October due to "changing macroeconomic conditions." Microsoft stated that prices for accessories like controllers and headsets will not be increased, and prices in other countries and regions will remain unchanged. The Xbox Series S will start at $399, up from $379. The Xbox Series X Digital Edition will now cost $599, a $50 increase, while the disc-drive version will cost $649, a $50 increase.
