On August 1st, at the Ledao L90 media conference, NIO Chairman William Li Bin stated that, from the perspective of the entire automotive industry, the ultimate technological path for electric vehicles is pure electric, and this is undisputed. Li Bin acknowledged that since 2022, sales of extended-range and plug-in hybrid vehicles have indeed performed very well. However, he emphasized that both extended-range and plug-in hybrid vehicles are merely transitional products in the overall development of new energy vehicles.
