On July 9, NIO's 1,000th expressway battery swap station was officially put into operation. NIO announced that it had completed the expressway battery swap plan of 1,000 stations and built a national expressway battery swap network between major cities, connecting 550 cities across the country. Including urban areas and expressway layouts, NIO currently has 3,399 battery swap stations and 8,058 charging and swap stations nationwide, ranking first in the industry in terms of the number of charging and swap stations.
