OpenAI is expanding its affordable ChatGPT subscription service from India to other countries. The company launched its "ChatGPT Go" paid plan in India last month for less than $5 per month, and has now launched it in Indonesia, priced at 75,000 Indonesian rupiah (about $4.50) per month. "ChatGPT Go" is a mid-range subscription option, between OpenAI's free version and the premium version "ChatGPT Plus" at $20 per month. Users can use 10 times the amount of the free version for asking questions, generating images, and uploading files. In addition, the service can better remember users' past conversations, allowing for more personalized long-term interactions. Nick Turley, head of ChatGPT, said that since the launch of "ChatGPT Go" in India, the number of paid subscribers has more than doubled.
