On September 10, US quantum computing company PsiQuantum announced the completion of a $1 billion Series E funding round to build the world's first commercially viable, fault-tolerant quantum computer. This round, led by BlackRock's funds and joined by Temasek and Barings, values the company at $7 billion. New investors include the Qatar Investment Authority and Nvidia's venture capital arm.
