Qualcomm sets up artificial intelligence R&D center in Vietnam

U.S. chipmaker Qualcomm said it has set up an artificial intelligence (AI) research and development center in Vietnam. Its researchers will focus on driving advances in generative and agent-based AI solutions for smartphones, PCs, extended reality (XR), automotive and IoT applications, the company said in a statement.
