OpenAI executives have discussed accusing its main backer Microsoft of anticompetitive behavior during the collaboration, according to people familiar with the matter. OpenAI's actions may include seeking federal regulators to review the terms of its contract with Microsoft to find out whether there are any antitrust violations and launching a public awareness campaign.
