Samsung Group said Thursday it plans to hire 60,000 new employees over the next five years to foster future growth and create more opportunities for young people. The group said it will particularly focus on recruiting new employees in the semiconductor, biotechnology, and artificial intelligence sectors. The group also said 19 subsidiaries, including Samsung Electronics, Samsung C&T, and Samsung BioLogics, are currently in the hiring phase.
