Shanghai Qingpu New Town builds "the first stop for enterprises from the Yangtze River Delta to enter Shanghai" and 40 projects were signed recently
Shanghai Qingpu District is comprehensively promoting the construction of the "Yangtze River Delta Innovation Hub" by serving the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta, the Hongqiao International Open Hub, the China International Import Expo and other major strategic tasks. As the "first move" and "breakthrough" of Qingpu's service to major strategies, Qingpu New City is striving to become the "first stop for enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta to enter Shanghai". Recently, 40 projects were signed at the Qingpu New City Development and Construction Conference and the "Chaoyong Pujiang" New City Qingpu Series of Activities. Shanghai University of Technology, China Telecom Shanghai Company, and Bank of Communications Shanghai Branch signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the Qingpu District Government. Huawei and the Qingpu District Government jointly launched the "Yangtze River Delta AI+ Joint Innovation Center" cooperation. Qingpu New City has a planned area of 91.1 square kilometers, accounting for 13% of Qingpu's land area, creating 40% of the district's GDP and 65% of the total industrial output value above designated size. According to the "2025 Qingpu New Town Development Action Plan", Qingpu New Town will focus on the new generation of information technology industry, cultivate a 100 billion-level industrial cluster, and strive to build a full-industry ecological chain with Huawei and other leading enterprises as the core, attracting headquarters economy and scientific and technological enterprises. "Beidou and low-altitude economy" as a characteristic industry for the coordinated development of Qingpu New Town will be based on the new generation of information technology as the underlying technical support, and will be coordinated and integrated with the district's high-end equipment manufacturing, modern logistics and other 100 billion-level industrial clusters.
