The Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue an orange warning for heavy rain at 6 a.m. today (July 29): It is expected that from 8 a.m. on July 29 to 8 a.m. on July 30, parts of northeastern Inner Mongolia, central and western Heilongjiang, central and western Jilin, most of Liaoning, northeastern and southern Beijing, central and northern Tianjin, northern and southeastern Hebei, northern Shandong, central and southern Jiangsu, Shanghai, eastern Zhejiang, southeastern Fujian, Guangdong, eastern Guangxi, and Taiwan Island will have heavy to torrential rain. Among them, parts of northern Liaoning, central Heilongjiang, Shanghai, northeastern Zhejiang, and southern Taiwan Island will have heavy rain, and local areas will have extremely heavy rain (250-300 mm).
