On April 23, the Dongguan Artificial Intelligence Industry High-Quality Development Conference and the Binhaiwan New Area Artificial Intelligence Industry Policy Conference were held. The Greater Bay Area (Dongguan) Artificial Intelligence Alliance was officially established in Dongguan. The alliance was led by Huawei, OPPO, and vivo, three major technology giants, and 18 heavyweight units signed contracts. The first batch of members covered communication operators, universities, research institutes and leading enterprises in the industrial chain. At the event, Huawei, vivo, OPPO, China Mobile, China Telecom, China Unicom, China Tower, Cape Cloud, Wenyi Group, Dongguan Jiaotong Group, Dongguan Digital Group, Greater Bay Area University, Dongguan Institute of Technology, City University of Hong Kong (Dongguan), the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Fifth Institute, Pazhou Laboratory, Intelligent Manufacturing Research Institute, and Dongguan New Generation Artificial Intelligence Research Institute signed a total of 18 units under the joint witness of the participants, marking the official launch of the alliance.
