Chen Siyuan and Sun Maoli were removed from their posts as Deputy Ministers of Public Security; Wu Manqing was removed from his post as the Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Engineering; Liu Zhenguo was removed from his post as the President of the China Association of the Aged; Lai Xinchun was removed from his post as the Vice President and Chief Engineer of the China Academy of Engineering Physics, and Zhang Ke was removed from his post as the Vice President of the China Academy of Engineering Physics.
