The United States has made final anti-dumping and countervailing duty rulings on low-speed passenger vehicles imported from China
On June 17, the U.S. Department of Commerce issued an announcement, making a final anti-dumping ruling on low-speed passenger vehicles imported from China, ruling that the dumping rate of Guangdong Lvtong New Energy Electric Vehicle Technology Co., Ltd. was 119.33%, the dumping rate of Xiamen Deller New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. was 312.31%, the dumping rate of enterprises that received separate tariffs was 291.04%, and the dumping rate of Chinese manufacturers/exporters was 478.09%. At the same time, the U.S. Department of Commerce made a final anti-subsidy ruling on low-speed passenger vehicles imported from China, ruling that the subsidy rate of Guangdong Lvtong New Energy Electric Vehicle Technology Co., Ltd. was 31.45%, the subsidy rate of Hebei Machinery Import and Export Co., Ltd. and Shandong Odys Industrial Co., Ltd. was 679.44%, the subsidy rate of Xiamen Deller New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. was 44.38%, and the subsidy rate of other Chinese manufacturers/exporters was 41.14%. The U.S. International Trade Commission is expected to make a final anti-dumping and anti-subsidy industry damage ruling on this case in July 2025.
