U.S. stocks opened high but ended low, with the three major indexes collectively closing down. The Nasdaq fell 0.5%, the S&P 500 fell 0.27%, and the Dow fell slightly by 1 point. Most large technology stocks fell, with Intel falling more than 6%, the largest single-day drop in two months; Amazon fell more than 2%, Apple and Meta fell more than 1%, Nvidia and Google fell slightly; Netflix rose more than 1%, and Tesla and Microsoft fell slightly. Oklo rose nearly 30%, setting a record closing high, and the company reached a nuclear power agreement with the U.S. Air Force. Space technology company Voyager Technologies Inc. (VOYG) rose more than 84% on its first day of U.S. IPO.
