The three major U.S. stock indexes closed higher, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 0.47%, the Nasdaq up 0.24%, and the S&P 500 up 0.4%. Most of the popular technology stocks rose, with Tesla up more than 3%, while Microsoft, Google and Broadcom rose less than 1%.
