The verdict of the food poisoning case of ByteDance employees in Singapore is expected to be announced in late July

On July 2, the Singapore National Court trial showed that Yunhaixiang CEO Lu Zhitao pleaded guilty on behalf of the company and assumed legal responsibility for the collective food poisoning incident of ByteDance Singapore employees in 2024. According to Singapore's Lianhe Zaobao, the case will be postponed until July 17 for sentencing.
