Recently, there was news that Transsion Holdings has established a travel division to explore two-wheeled electric vehicles and other related businesses. Transsion Holdings is currently rapidly rolling out two-wheeled electric vehicles in Africa and other developing countries. On June 16, a reporter from Beijing News Shell Finance learned from an insider close to Transsion Holdings that the two-wheeled electric vehicle business is a project incubated internally by Transsion Holdings. It has been developed for nearly three years and has been tested in two projects in South Asia and Africa. It has also tried to test in other regions before, but because of certain difficulties in the entire R&D and local production, it gave up the testing in the region. The reporter asked Transsion Holdings for confirmation, but Transsion Holdings did not comment.
