US stock market close: three major stock indexes rose and fell

The three major U.S. stock indexes closed with mixed gains and losses, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 0.38%, the Nasdaq up 0.15%, and the S&P 500 down 0.12%. Nvidia rose more than 2%, and Apple fell more than 1%.
