Venezuela suspends entry of Colombian flights

On May 19, local time, Venezuelan Interior Minister Cabello announced that after arresting more than 30 people suspected of participating in conspiracy crimes (including about 17 foreigners who entered through Colombia), he had ordered the suspension of all flights from Colombia to Venezuela. Cabello said that this aviation ban, which will take effect immediately, may last until after the legislative and gubernatorial elections on May 25.
