Waymo partners with Avis to expand ride-hailing service to Dallas, Texas

Waymo, Alphabet's driverless technology company, announced on July 28 local time that it will expand its online car-hailing service to Dallas, Texas, in 2026. Waymo will establish a strategic partnership with Avis Budget Group, and Avis will provide end-to-end fleet management services, including infrastructure, vehicle preparation, maintenance, and general fleet operations.
